Director Vetrimaaran has confirmed that the OTT version of ‘Viduthalai Part 2’ will have a longer runtime of over an hour.
In that case, it is now safe to assume that the Vijay Sethupathi starrer, which is gearing up for its streaming debut in Zee5, will have an extended runtime of three hours and 53 minutes.
The new update has left the Tamil cinema audiences, who have been eagerly waiting for the film’s OTT release, highly excited.
Interestingly, Vetrimaaran also revealed that the combined runtime of the both the parts – ‘Viduthalai Part 1 and Part 2’, exceed eight hours.
The extended cut of the highly celebrated ‘Viduthalai Part 1’, which is currently available for streaming on Zee5 and OTT Play Premium, has a runtime of over four hours.
In that case, Vetrimaaran’s films emerged as two of the longest films ever produced by the Indian film industry, so far.
