Composer GV Prakash Kumar has confirmed that actor Suriya has sung a track for the upcoming Tamil-Telugu film ‘Vishwanath and Sons’. The song is scheduled to be released on July 23, coinciding with the actor’s birthday.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans, as Suriya has previously contributed vocals to several film tracks, including songs from ‘Anjaan’, ‘Party’, ‘Retro’, and the theme music of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and its Telugu version.
Directed by Venky Atluri, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ revolves around the relationship between a middle-aged man, played by Suriya, and a younger woman portrayed by Mamitha Baiju. The cast also includes Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon, with the latter returning to Tamil cinema after a long gap.
Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film features cinematography by Nimish Ravi, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by Banglan. It is expected to arrive in theatres on August 14.
