Madras High CourtJudge Sathiskumar passed an interim order against Bhavninder Singh publishing any controversial photos of Amala Paul.
He has been ordered to reply to the petition before 22 December. According to the petition, Amala Paul and Bhavninder Singh had got engaged in Rajasthan in 2019 but they split up within a short period.
But the singer in March 2020 posted the engagement photos on social media suggesting that they had got married. Bhavninder Singh then removed the photos from his social media after Amala Paul’s objection. Now the legal action has been taken against him.
Bhavninder Singh had last year posted some pictures of him and Amala Paul on social media with both of them wearing traditional wedding attire. But within a few minutes, he deleted those pics.
However, the photos gone viral and it was widely claimed that Amala Paul and Singh had entered wedlock. It may be recalled that Amala Paul had earlier married director AL Vijay and got divorced in 2017.
