The first look posters of Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik’s new movie ‘Pathu Thala’ were released by the film’s music director AR Rahman in January.
The gangster flick which is the remake of the Kannada super hit ‘Mufti’ is directed by Obeli N Krishna who directed ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’.
Simbu resumed shooting for the movie recently. The latest update is that Gautham Karthik, who entered wedlock with Manjima Mohan recently, has completed dubbing for his portions in the movie.
The movie which was earlier slated to be released during Christmas has now been postponed to January.
‘Pathu Thala’ is produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja under the banner Studio Green with Kalaiarasan and Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the other principal characters apart from Simbhu and Gautham Karthik.
