In a moment of pride for Indian cinema, actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has been conferred with the prestigious “Tiger of Martial Arts” title.
This honour follows his formal induction into the Kenjutsu Samurai tradition, making him the first Indian to achieve this recognition outside of Japan.
The title was bestowed by the Golden Dragons organization after his 30-year journey in martial arts.
Pawan Kalyan’s dedication recently saw him achieve the 5th Dan Black Belt from the Sogo Budo Kanri Kai, a distinction rarely accomplished by non-Japanese practitioners.
Under the mentorship of Hanshi Professor Dr. Siddiq Mahmoodi, he has mastered the art of the Katana and Budo philosophy.
Fans are especially thrilled as these real-life skills will be prominently featured in his upcoming gangster drama ‘They Call Him OG’ , where he plays a protagonist with lethal swordsmanship skills.
