Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is reportedly setting a new benchmark for remuneration in Indian cinema.
For his upcoming massive collaboration with “Icon Star” Allu Arjun, the director is reportedly charging a whopping Rs 75 crore.
This project, tentatively titled AA23, is rumored to be a high-concept action thriller that might finally bring Lokesh’s long-cherished sci-fi ideas to life.
While Allu Arjun is currently finishing his current commitments, he is expected to transition into Lokesh’s world by June or July 2026.
This collaboration is particularly significant as it marks Lokesh’s first direct project with a top-tier Tollywood superstar for a primary lead role.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is already being hailed as one of the most expensive and anticipated director-actor pairings in the South Indian film industry.
