Known for his unique script selections, actor Arulnithi is all set to entertain family audiences this year.
His upcoming film, ‘My Dear Sister’ , has officially joined the summer race, targeting a major release during the April-May holiday season.
Directed by Prabhu Jeyaram, who previously gained acclaim for ‘Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam’ , the film is a departure from Arulnithi’s usual thriller-heavy filmography.
The story explores the intense emotional and ideological battle between a brother, Pachai Krishnan, and his older sister, Nirmala Devi.
While the brother holds rigid, traditional views, the sister (played by Mamta Mohandas) is a staunch feminist, leading to a narrative full of spirited interplay and humour.
The film also stars Meenakshi Govindarajan in a pivotal role, with music composed by Nivas K. Prasanna.
The production is backed by Goldmines and Passion Studios, with the makers promising an emotionally rooted narrative that resonates with modern siblings.
