Sleuths from the Income Tax Department carried out a raid at the house of Rashmika Mandanna, who is one of the leading actresses of Tollywood and Kollywood.
According to reports, they recovered Rs 25 lakh unaccounted cash in the raid carried out at the residence of the actress at Virajpet in Kodagu district. “They even investigated the manager of the wedding hall owned by Rashmika Mandanna,” they added.
Rashmika was recently seen playing the heroine in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and she is also playing the lead in Allu Arjun’s next with director Sukumar. The film is said to be an action drama.
Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music and Polish cameraman Miroslaw Kuba Brozek will take care of the cinematography. Recently, Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara and Vamsi Paidipally’s daughter Aadya, who are YouTube stars, interviewed Rashmika Mandanna in a bid to promote ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’.
When Sitara asked Rashmika about working with her father, the actress replied, “It was extremely easy. But, the first impression was that I was totally terrified.”
The ‘Geetha Govindam’ actress added: “He is a superstar and he has worked in more than 20 films. I have been only for three years in the industry. On the set, I am always like chirpy but luckily Mahesh sir was like let give this girl her space.”
