Lately, many Tamil film personalities are getting bomb threats. The latest to join the list are Vijayakanth and Dhanush.
On Tuesday, a man called the Chennai police control room and threatened that bombs would explode at the house of Dhanush in Abiramapuram and also at the residence of Vijayakanth in Virugambakkam.
Though the police suspected it to be a hoax, they were not ready to take any chance and made a thorough search at the houses of both the celebrities, only to find that no explosive material was there.
Then they launched investigation to trace the caller and found that the threat calls were made by the same mentally ill person who had made a fake bomb threat call to actor Suriya recently.
While the police let him off with a severe warning last time, they are planning to take strict action as per law this time, sources said.
