Director Ramkumar’s upcoming film ‘Irandu Vaanam’, starring Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju, will no longer arrive in theatres on October 23 as originally planned. Production house Sathya Jyothi Films has confirmed that the film’s release has been deferred, with a revised date expected to be announced soon.

In a statement shared on social media, the production house described the project as a special film for the team and expressed confidence in the cinematic experience it would offer audiences.

The makers also acknowledged the encouragement received from distributors, business partners, fans and moviegoers throughout the film’s journey.

Explaining the decision, the production house said it wanted to identify a more suitable release window that would help the film reach a wider audience and deliver the best possible theatrical experience.

Although the announcement did not disclose a replacement date, the team assured fans that further details would be shared soon.

The postponement is likely to leave fans waiting a little longer to see Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju together on screen. Expectations surrounding the project have been building since filming wrapped on June 10 last year.

For now, audiences will have to wait for the makers to confirm when ‘Irandu Vaanam’ will finally make its theatrical debut.
