Thursday (July 23) was Suriya’s birthday and the actor was showered by wishes from various quarters. One among the celebrities who had greeted him was director Vignesh Shivan, who made ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ in association with the actor.

While Suriya is now waiting for the release of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ helmed by Sudha Kongara and would soon working on films directed by Vetrimaaran (‘Vaadivaasal’) and Hari, Vignesh Shivan is getting ready to direct ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in lead roles.
