Trisha is awaiting the release of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie is set to hit the screens on 30 September.
The actress has now signed her next film which will be directed by debutant Arun Vaseegaran. The film titled ‘The Road’ has been officially launched.
It is said that the movie is based on real life incidents that took place in Madurai.
Star cast of the movie also includes Santhosh Prathap, Shabeer, Miya George and MS Bhaskar. Music for the movie will be by Sam CS.
