Director Shankar, it seems, is upset over the delay in resuming the shoot of ‘Indian 2’, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead. It is said the filmmaker has written to the production house asking them to spell out their plan for the project.
In his letter, Shankar has reportedly urged the producers to either let him resume ‘Indian 2’ or allow him to work on another project.
‘Indian 2’ has been facing one problem or the other ever since its shoot commenced. While a huge mishap on the sets, which resulted in the death of three persons, brought the shoot to halt, then came Covid-19 induced lockdown.
With the government allowing movie shoots with restrictions, the project is yet to resume, which has apparently disturbed Shankar. Meanwhile, sources close to the production house has denied any rift and said the shoot would resume soon. “It is a prestigious project,” they added.
