Director Shankar’s political action drama ‘Game Changer’ is set to hit the big screens on January 10. Shankar has now started promoting the film.
In an interview, the filmmaker revealed details about his upcoming project. The social media speculations are true, as the director confirmed that ‘Velpari’ would be his immediate film after ‘Game Changer’.
He said, “My next film will be Velpaari. It is my dream project, and I finished scripting it during the lockdown. I will begin shooting for it soon.”
Shankar is said to be interested in casting Suriya for the lead role, but there is no confirmation at the moment.
‘Velpari’ is based on a novel, and just like any other Shankar film, it will be made on a massive budget. More details about the film are expected to be disclosed soon.
