Samuthirakani plays the lead role in the movie ‘Vellai Yaanai’ directed by Subramaniam Siva of ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ fame.
The movie is said to be an agriculture based script and talks about the issues faced by farmers. S Vinodh Kumar is producing Vellai Yaanai under his Mini Studios banner, while Santhosh Narayanan is composing music for the film.
The latest buzz is that the makers are planning to premier the movie directly on a popular Tamil television channel. The film will then be made available to stream on an OTT platform.
