The first look and title poster of director Vetrimaran’s upcoming flick has been released. The film has been titled ‘Viduthalai’. The look of Soori and Vijay Sethupathi has also been released and looks riveting.
The shooting of the movie commenced recently at the Sathyamangalam reserve forest. Director Bharathiraja was roped in for a crucial role in the movie.
However, he opted out of the project following which Vijay Sethupathi was replaced for the role. Music for the movie is by Ilayaraja and it is said that the maestro has already composed eight songs for the flick. ‘Viduthalai’ is adapted from Jeyamohan’s acclaimed short story ‘Thunaivan’.
Interestingly, it may be recalled that ‘Viduthalai’ was the title of a movie which was released in 1986 starring Sivaji Ganesan and Rajinikanth.
