When asked for his quick thoughts on the latest development, Rajinikanth stated, “My best wishes.” However, he refrained from further elaborating on his thoughts regarding the potential impact of Vijay’s entry on politics and cinema.
Vijay surprised everyone last week by revealing his political plans. Vijay’s political outfit is named Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, and he intends to contest the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu in 2026.
Vijay clarified that he won’t be participating in the upcoming Parliament elections, scheduled in the next few months.
Vijay mentioned that after fulfilling his existing movie commitments, he will dedicate himself full-time to advancing his political career. It is widely believed that after Thalapathy 69, Vijay will retire from movies entirely.
