Actor Silambarasan who was last seen in ‘Pathu Thala’, is currently working on his yet-to-be titled project ‘STR 48’.
Backed by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International, the film is directed by Desingh Periyasamy.
While the makers released the first-look poster a while ago, featuring Simbu in dual roles, it is highly anticipated that the actor will come in two avatars and play both the protagonist and villain in ‘STR 48’.
Reports also suggest that the grand set works for the film are ongoing and the shooting will begin by mid-March.
It is said that ‘Sita Ramam’-fame Mrunal Thakur will play the female lead, making her debut in Tamil.
Official updates regarding the film are expected to be made by the makers as the production progresses.
