The teaser of Karthi’s ‘Sulthan’ which was released recently created quite a buzz about the film already.
The makers had already announced that the movie will be released on 9 April. However, there were speculations that the movie’s release might be postponed due to the increased corona cases in the State.
Now the movie’s producer S R Prabhu has confirmed that the movie will be released as planned.
He said that there was no change in the decision and requested the audience to watch the movie by taking precaution and wearing mask.
‘Sulthan’ has Rashmika Mandanna debuting as Karthi’s pair, while Yogi Babu, Lal and Haressh Peradi are in the cast. ‘Remo’ fame Bhagyaraj Kannan is the director while Vivek Mervin is the music composer.
Apart from ‘Sulthan’ Karthi is also part of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
