The record-breaking Malayalam film, ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’, is set for its digital premiere, with an official announcement confirming it will begin streaming on JioHotstar from October 31, 2025.
The fantasy-action film, directed by Dominic Arun and starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, cemented its status as the highest-grossing Malayalam film in history, reportedly crossing the Rs 300 crore mark globally.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, the movie successfully blends Kerala folklore with a modern superhero narrative.
To cater to its massive pan-Indian appeal, the film will be available in multiple languages on the platform, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, allowing a wider audience to experience the movie that has already launched a highly anticipated sequel featuring Tovino Thomas.
