Soori delivered a solid blockbuster with the village drama ‘Garudan’. The film grossed over 50 crores at the worldwide box office and emerged as one of the biggest hits of Kollywood in 2024.
‘Garudan’ is Soori’s second film as a lead actor after the blockbuster ‘Viduthalai’.
Vetrimaaran, who directed Viduthalai, has penned the story for Garudan.
The action drama is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil audio with English subtitles attached to it.
The gap between theatrical and OTT release is over four weeks. R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, who earlier helmed Dhanush’s Pattas and ‘Kodi’, is the director of Garudan.
M. Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Roshini Haripriyan, Samuthirakani, Mime Gopi, and Sshivada played important roles.
Grass Root Film Company and Lark Studio jointly bankrolled Garudan, while Yuvan Shankar Raja provided the music.
