Director-actor M Sasikumar said that theaters are like temple and OTT are like the pooja room at home.

“Though we pray to the gods in our home daily, still the feeling of praying at the Temple is completely different.

Similarly though we watch movies at home, it is a completely different feel to watch a film in theater,” he said during the Pongal celebrations of the Tamil Movie Journalists Association.

Sasikumar added that he was always indebted to mediapersons as they play a crucial role in his development.Pongal essentials were distributed to the members of the TMJA.

Sasikumar is awaiting the release of his rural entertainer ‘MGR Magan’. Recently, he signed up a new project which has been titeld ‘Pagaivanukku Arulvai.

The movie will be directed by Anis of ‘Thirumanum Ennum Nikkah’ fame. The movie will have two heorines played by Bindhu Madhavi and Vani Bhojan.Nassar, Jayaprakash, and Sathish Ninasam of ‘Lucia’ fame have also been roped in to play pivotal characters.
