The upcoming tenth season of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ is set to introduce a new element by bringing contestants from the reality show’s common-man spin-off into the main competition.
Three participants from ‘Bigg Boss The Common Man’ will reportedly enter ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 10’ and compete alongside the celebrity contestants. The identities of the participants who will join the main show are yet to be revealed.
The new season is scheduled to premiere on Star Vijay on September 6.
‘Bigg Boss The Common Man’ began streaming on JioHotstar on August 16. Former ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ contestant Maya S Krishnan is hosting the spin-off, while former contestants Aari Arjunan, Oviyah and Raju Jeyamohan are part of the judging panel.
The main show follows contestants living together under one roof, taking part in tasks and facing eliminations during their stay. The format is based on the internationally popular ‘Big Brother’ franchise.
The decision to bring three contestants from the common-man edition into the celebrity season is expected to add a new dynamic to the upcoming edition of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’.
