With the deadly coronavirus pandemic killing thousands of people across the world, Arvind Swami has said that it’s time we break the contagion of the coronavirus which has been spreading like wildfire.
“Over the last few days we have seen some states taking proactive measures to stop the spread of virus while others still contemplate,” the ‘Bombay’ and ‘Baskar Oru Rascal’ actor posted on his social media page.
He added: “It is now proven that social restrictions are necessary in breaking the chain of the contagion. Why can’t we have a nationwide mandate NOW?”
In an earlier post, he said, “Hello people, as we face a global pandemic, I urge you all to take utmost caution. Please follow health and hygiene guidelines and Encourage people around you to do the same. We must act responsibly, we owe it to ourselves and to the people around us. Stay calm and be safe.”
