Actor Aari who recently won the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ title has signed a new movie. The formal launch of the film with the auspicious pooja was held on Tuesday.
The flick is directed by debutant Abin, a former associate of director A R Murugadoss. Vidya Pradeep will play the female lead in the movie.
Sources said that Aari will be playing a police officer in the flick. The movie is bankrolled by Shaurya Productions and Abin Film Factory.
Music for the movie is by Sterlin Nithya. Aari made his debut in ‘Rettaisuzhi’ (2010) produced by director Shankar, before having a breakthrough performance as Murugan in ‘Nedunchaalai’ (2014) and starred in the supernatural thriller ‘Maya’ starring Nayanthara.
