– Movie Review
Aadhi is a physical trainer in a school. His mother Devadarshini prevents him from getting involved in any social issues as it is predicted that it will be fatal for him.
Aadhi’s wedding gets fixed with Kashmira Paradeshi. Meanwhile, his neighbour Anikha commits suicide after she was molested in her college.
Despite his mother’s warning, Aadhi files a police complaint against the college chairman Thiagarajan. What happens next forms the crux of the story .
Directed by Karthik Venugopal, the movie begins as an entertainer and slowly shifts as a social drama with a message.
The director has conveyed the theme of the movie in an effective manner and it has worked out really well.
Though the screenplay for the movie is good, there are still some inconsistencies which could have been addressed in a better manner.
Aadhi has improved drastically as an actor in his past few films. He is energetic and shines in the comedy scenes.
The emotional and romance portions are also portrayed by him in a convincing manner.
Kashmira Pardesi is adequate as the love interest of the hero. With the core plot of the movie revolving around her character, Anikha has done a decent job.
Rest of the cast including Devadarshini, Ilavarasu, Prabhu, Bhagyaraja and Thiagarajan have all done their part well.
While the songs in the movie are average, the BGM by Aadhi stands out. The cinematography, editing and other technical aspects are in line with what the script demands.
