The much-anticipated collaboration between Venkatesh and acclaimed director Trivikram Srinivas is reportedly moving forward, with the film tentatively titled ‘Venkata Ramana’.
While an official announcement is still pending, insiders suggest that pre-production for the project is well underway. This marks Trivikram’s first directorial venture with Venkatesh, though they have collaborated previously with Trivikram as a writer.
The film is touted as a wholesome family entertainer, a genre both Venkatesh and Trivikram excel in.
The title ‘Venkata Ramana,’ with a rumored tagline ‘Care of Aanandha Nilayam,’ hints at a narrative rich in emotional and humorous elements, reminiscent of Venkatesh’s classic hits like ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.’ This project will also be a milestone as Venkatesh’s 77th film.
The shooting for ‘Venkata Ramana’ is expected to commence in August, with an eye on a Summer 2026 release. Haarika and Hassine Creations will be producing this highly anticipated movie.
