‘Subham’ marks the debut of Samantha Ruth Prabhu as a producer in Telugu cinema. She co-produced the film with Raj Nidumuru and released it on a grand scale in Telugu.
Samantha initially locked a deal with ZEE5 for the digital and satellite rights. However, due to the film’s slow start, the OTT deal was canceled at the last minute.
Samantha then approached JioCinema and successfully closed a new OTT deal.
The OTT platform has now officially announced that the movie will be available for streaming from 13 June.
Directed by Praveen Kandregula of ‘Mail’ fame, the film is a horror-comedy.
