Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film, ‘The Girl Friend’, directed by Rahul Ravindran, has successfully completed its censor formalities and has been awarded a U/A certificate.
The makers have locked the film’s runtime at a crisp 138 minutes. The pan-India project is scheduled for a grand release on November 7th.
According to reports, the censor board members were highly impressed with the film’s sensitive portrayal of a young woman’s emotional journey and personal struggles, with some reportedly calling it a “potential National Award-winning work”.
The film, presented by Allu Aravind, explores themes of emotions, relationships, and self-respect, and Rashmika’s performance is being touted as a major highlight.
