Ram Charan sustained an injury to his right wrist while filming a high-intensity action sequence for his upcoming sports drama *Peddi*. He later travelled to Coimbatore for medical evaluation, where doctors recommended surgery to aid proper recovery.

The actor was accompanied during the procedure by his parents, Chiranjeevi and Surekha, along with his wife Upasana.

Following the successful surgery, the hospital issued a statement confirming that the operation had gone smoothly. Doctors have advised the actor to take approximately eight weeks of rest, followed by physiotherapy, before resuming professional commitments.
