The upcoming Pan-Indian mythological action drama ‘Nagabandham’ is setting new production standards with an unprecedented commitment to its climax sequence.
Makers of the film, directed by Abhishek Nama and starring young hero Virat Karrna, have announced that they are spending a massive Rs 20 crore solely on the final action block.
This astonishing investment makes the Nagabandham climax one of the costliest action sequences ever produced for an Indian film of this scale.
The team is currently filming the high-voltage sequence at Ramanaidu Studios, Nanakramguda, on an elaborate set that features a gigantic, symbolic door—crafted meticulously by Production Designer Ashok Kumar—to add dramatic weight and grandeur to the final act.
To ensure the action meets international standards, the producers have roped in acclaimed Thai stunt master Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his dynamic choreography in global blockbusters. His expertise promises electrifying stunts and combat scenes that will deliver a thrilling, visually spectacular finale.
‘Nagabandham’ is set against the backdrop of India’s ancient Vishnu temples and explores the mystique of the sacred tradition known as Nagabandham, a secretive ritual rooted in centuries-old traditions.
