Ever since the Central government recently announced Padma Bhushan award to Indian badminton star and Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, she is being showered with congratulatory messages.
One among the celebrities who greeted her was Mahesh Babu. In a tweet, he said, “Heartfelt congratulations to our very own @Pvsindhu1 on being conferred with the Padma Bhushan, @MangteC on being awarded the Padma Vibhushan, Special mentions to @ImZaheer @imranirampal @JituRai, #OnamBembemDevi, #TarundeepRai on being awarded the Padma Shri!!”
Responding to him, Sindhu wrote: “Thank you so much ” While Mahesh had also appreciated her when she earned a silver during the Olympics, Sindhu, in an interview, had revealed that she is a movie buff and likes Mahesh Babu a lot.
Meanwhile,speaking to reporters in Hyderabad Tuesday, Sindhu said, “It is very important to stay fit as this is the Olympic year. It is not that you should go to tournaments without being 100 percent. It is important to stay healthy and be fit and then go for tournaments.”
