Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander have expressed shock over the death of basketball champion Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, who passed away in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
Posting a picture of Bryant with his daughter, Dhanush wrote: “NO !!” Anirudh statd: “Devastated and shocked. An integral part of our childhood. Rest in peace Kobe.”
Anirudh also retweeted former US President Barack Obama’s tweet, which said, “Kobe was a legend on the court and just getting started in what would have been just as meaningful a second act. To lose Gianna is even more heartbreaking to us as parents. Michelle and I send love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.”
Kobe Bryant was a five-time NBA champion and usually travelled in a helicopter. Five people including Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna passed away in the crash.
Kobe Bean Bryant was an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, Bryant played his entire 20-season career in the National Basketball Association with the Los Angeles Lakers. He entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships.
