Silambarasan aka STR is awaiting the release of ‘Pathu Thala’ which is all set to hit the screens on 30 March.
Rumours are rife that the actor has signed a project which will be directed by Desingh Periyasamy and will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films.
Sources said that the movie which is touted to be a period drama will be made in a budget of over 100 crores.
Now the latest update is that the movie will commence with the auspicious pooja on 9 March.
Silambarasan is likely to play a dual role in the movie.
Music for the movie will be by Anirudh and the shooting is expected to commence in July.
