Following the historic box office success of ‘Amaran’, the blockbuster combination of Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) has officially reunited as their next prestigious project, ‘Seyon’, commenced its principal photography.
The film was formally launched yesterday with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by top industry figures before the crew immediately began filming its first official schedule amidst the vibrant locales of Madurai.
Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the project is rumored to be a grand, culturally rooted rural commercial entertainer inspired by narratives surrounding Lord Murugan mythology.
Rising actress Bhagyashri Borse has locked the spot as the female lead, while comedian Bala Saravanan joins in a critical supporting role.
Backed by an ambitious technical crew that includes cinematographer Vivek Vijayakumar and an anticipated soundtrack by Santhosh Narayanan, the production team is working on an aggressive timeline to prepare the film for its grand worldwide theatrical release in October 2026.
