Even after 18 years of making her debut in Kollywood, not only is Nayanthara still relevant, she commands the highest salary for a woman actor across south Indian industries.
When everyone thought Nayanthara’s career had ended, she came back like a phoenix bird, and now she is shining high.
After the setback on her personal front, Nayanthara made a strong comeback with Atlee’s romantic drama ‘Raja Rani’. However, the film that established her as a terrific performer came years later, ‘Naanum Rowdy Thaan’.

While her first hit where she played the solo lead was ‘Maya’, Nayanthara has since diversified and isn’t playing it safe by sticking to horror.
She has done versatile roles in ‘Aramm’, ‘Imaikaa Nodigal’ and ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’. Though Nayanthara continues to act in big budget films opposite male stars where she plays the female lead, she’s been slowly carving a path for herself.
Her previous relationships are known to the public and are brought up in a distasteful manner. However, the actor has refused to back down.
In a recent interview Nayanthara had confirmed that she is engaged to Vignesh Shivan. She added that her engagement was a private affair and only close family was present. She may not be the most versatile of actors, But Nayanthara’s screen presence is undeniable and can draw large crowds effortlessly.
