Stating that her ex cheated on her, top Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has said he then ‘begged and pleaded’ for a second chance. She also said infidelity is a deal-breaker for her.
It is to be noted that Deepika had dated a few people, including actor Ranbir Kapoor, before falling in love with Ranveer Singh and entering wedlock with him.
In an interview, she said “For me, sex is not just about physicality; there are emotions involved. I have never cheated or strayed when I am in a relationship. If I am going to be fooling around, why would I be in a relationship? It is better to be single and have fun. But not everyone thinks like that.”
Without revealing any name, she said she has been hurt in the past because she was foolish enough to give someone a second chance.
“I was foolish enough to give him a second chance because he begged and pleaded, despite the fact that everyone around me said he was still straying. Then I actually caught him red-handed. It took me a while to get out. But having done that, nothing can make me go back. That ship has sailed,” she said.
