Rapper and director Hip Hop Adhi has officially confirmed that ‘Meesaya Murukku 2’ is in the works, promising another semi-biographical tale.

Making the announcement during a high-energy concert, Adhi revealed that the sequel will continue to explore his “cinema life” and the untold struggles he faced after his initial rise to fame.

He is taking complete creative control of the project, handling the story, screenplay, music, and direction himself.

The film reportedly features Harshath Khan in a pivotal role and will lean heavily into themes of friendship and the reality of the independent music scene in Chennai.

Fans are eager to see if this installment will capture the same “coming-of-age” magic that made the 2017 original a cult hit among the youth.
