The Madras High Court has issued a directive to actor Ravi Mohan and his wife Aarthi Ravi from making defamatory statements against each other, especially on social media and public platforms.
In the suit filed by Ravi Mohan, seeking removal of certain posts by Aarti, the judge is believed to have noted that “one must first remove their posts before expecting the other side to do so.”
The judge reportedly agreed with this assessment and issued a strong word of caution urging restraint and responsible conduct, especially in the interest of the minors involved.
The Court ruled that,”Neither party should make defamatory remarks in public or online. Previously shared statements of such nature should be removed from social media. Both individuals are advised to refrain from airing grievances in public and instead express their concerns only in court.”
