Kayadu Lohar has opened up about her experience working alongside Suriya in his upcoming film, admitting that she continues to feel nervous even after several days on the sets.

The actress is currently awaiting the release of the Tamil fantasy film ‘Immmortal’ and will also appear in the Malayalam film ‘I’m Game’. Alongside these projects, she is part of Suriya’s upcoming 48th film as a lead actor.

Speaking about sharing the screen with Suriya, Kayadu said she initially felt intimidated when she arrived on set. Although she expected the feeling to ease after getting accustomed to the environment, she admitted that she was still experiencing those nerves several days into filming.

Kayadu explained that she is trying to remain composed and concentrate on her performance despite Suriya’s presence and experience.

She also described the situation as a form of healthy competition. According to the actress, being challenged pushes her to work harder and ensure that she gives her best.

Kayadu particularly praised Suriya’s screen presence and performance, saying it can be difficult to look away when he is performing. That, she explained, motivates her to raise her own performance and match his energy on screen.

The upcoming project marks another collaboration between Suriya and director T. J. Gnanavel following ‘Jai Bhim’. Music composer Sai Abhyankkar is also continuing his association with Suriya after ‘Karuppu’.

For Kayadu, the film represents an opportunity to work with an experienced performer while also challenging herself to perform at a higher level.
