Fresh reports from the Tamil film industry indicate that CM Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay may soon take on a new role as a leading actor. Although no official confirmation has been issued, speculation suggests he is in discussions for a film that could mark his debut in front of the camera.
The rumoured project is expected to be directed by a well-known filmmaker and backed by producer GK Tamil Kumaran. The news has generated interest, as Jason has so far focused on filmmaking rather than acting.
His first major industry project remains ‘Sigma’, which marks his directorial debut. While work on the film has been progressing, reports suggest its release plans may have changed.
According to industry sources, the makers are considering postponing ‘Sigma’ to avoid releasing around the same period as ‘Jana Nayagan’, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on July 24. If the reports are accurate, ‘Sigma’ could instead target a release later in August.
Neither the acting project nor the revised release schedule has been officially announced. However, the speculation has already sparked discussions among cinema fans eager to see Jason Sanjay’s next career move.
