The makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited sequel ‘Jailer 2’ have confirmed that the film will release in Hindi on October 15, alongside its other language versions. The clarification comes amid reports suggesting that the film would skip its planned release in the Hindi market.
In a statement issued on October 12, the film’s publicist said the Hindi release schedule remained unchanged. Pen Marudhar Entertainment will handle the film’s distribution across North India.
The team has also urged media organisations to verify information before circulating reports about the film’s release plans.
The sequel to the 2023 blockbuster ‘Jailer’ sees Rajinikanth return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, the retired jailer who finds himself caught up in another dangerous conflict involving criminal networks and threats to his family.
The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, S. J. Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
With the Hindi release now reaffirmed, the sequel is set to reach audiences across multiple language markets on the announced date.
