The makers of ‘Thug Life’, officially announced that Silambarasan will be part of the Kamal Haasan-starrer film.
Reports say that he will be playing the role that was initially offered to Dulquer Salmaan.
Now that leaves us with the question of who will be cast for the role of Jayam Ravi? It is to be noted that unofficially, it has been confirmed that both Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan opted out of ‘Thug Life’ due to shooting schedule conflicts.
Actor Ashok Selvan, who was last seen in Pon Ondru Kanden, is expected to take up the role of Jayam Ravi’s character.
However, an official announcement on the same is yet to be made by the makers.
‘Thug Life’ is directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam and backed by Madras Talkies and Raaj Kamal Films International. With music scored by AR Rahman, Thug Life also stars Trisha, Silambarasan, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Nasser, Abhirami, Vayapuri and others.
