During a promotional event for his upcoming film ‘Patriot’ on February 9, Fahadh Faasil confirmed that a sequel to his 2024 blockbuster ‘Aavesham’ is in the works.
Addressing the most frequent question from fans, “FaFa” stated that director Jithu Madhavan has already begun conceptualizing the script to take the eccentric gangster’s story forward.
However, fans will need to be patient, as the actor revealed a tentative timeline of 2027 or 2028 for the release.
The delay is attributed to both Fahadh’s packed schedule and Jithu Madhavan’s current commitments.
In the meantime, Fahadh confirmed he plays the antagonist in the star-studded espionage thriller ‘Patriot’, which features Mammootty and Mohanlal and is slated for an April 23, 2026 release.
