Dhanush showers praise on Karthik Subbaraj-Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Dorothy’ ahead of release
National Award winning actor Dhanush has expressed his appreciation for Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film ‘Dorothy’ just ahead of its release.
The film, which features Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, recently made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja has scored the music for the project.
Sharing his thoughts online, Dhanush praised Subbaraj’s filmmaking and described ‘Dorothy’ as an intense and striking cinematic experience. He also singled out the performances across the cast and Ilaiyaraaja’s background score.
Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj previously collaborated on ‘Jagame Thandhiram’, making ‘Dorothy’ another project from the filmmaker that has caught the actor’s attention.
Keerthy Suresh headlines the film, with Sananth and Rishikanth also appearing in key roles. The supporting cast features Ramachandran Durairaj, Gajaraj, Muthukumar and Jeeva Subramanian.
The film is being produced by Karthik Subbaraj through Dhammam Films. Guneet Monga and Aachin Jain are backing the project under Sikhya Entertainment, while Jyoti Deshpande is associated with the production through Jio Studios. Following its international festival screening, ‘Dorothy’ is set to reach audiences with its theatrical release.
