The makers of Kamal Haasan’s 234th film ‘Thug Life’ recently shared that Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Kartik and Joju George have joined the cast.
Helmed by Mani Ratnam, the most-anticipated film marks the reunion of the filmmaker with Kamal Haasan after 35 years.
Mani Ratnam was asked about his much-awaited reunion with Kamal Haasan.
At the Indian of the Year 2023 event in Delhi, he was asked what took him so long to reunite with the legendary actor. He replied, “I can’t say what took me so long. It is tough when you have an actor of that capability, who has done several things. So unless you have some solid things, do not go to him just because you have done it before. Hopefully, we would be able to bring some kind of character back on screen.”
‘Thug Life’ is jointly produced by Raajkamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth.
Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film will also feature Trisha Krishnan and Jayam Ravi in pivotal roles.
