Action and emotion
Thiruvin Kural
– Review
Despite having a caring father Bharathiraja and affectionate lover Aathmika, Arulnithi is a partially deaf and mute person who is short tempered.
One day Bharathiraja meets with an accident and gets injured in his head.
Arulnithi admits him to a hospital where he ends up fighting with the staff.
How it affects the life of Arulnithi and his family members forms the rest of the story.
Director Harish Prabhu has got the casting right for the movie which is one of its major positives.
The screenplay is engaging and keeps the audience engaged. However, the logic goes for a toss in several sequences.
Arulnithi is impressive in his character and delivers a natural performance.
His scores in the emotional and action sequences and the way he struggles to save his family.
Bharathiraja creates sympathy as the injured father and proves that he is a seasoned actor.
Aathmika has very little to do and shines in the screenspace that she has got.
Ashraf, Suresh, Chandhan and Vinoth as the staff of the hospital are terrifying. BGM by Sam CS is impressive. Sinto Poduthas’ camerawork is good.
