In a series of posts on her social media account, Manya Anand claimed that she was offered a pivotal role in the high-profile project. However, she alleged that a key member of the production team made inappropriate demands, euphemistically referred to as “adjustments,” which she refused.
The actress stated, “I lost the role because I refused to compromise my integrity. This culture needs to end.”
While Manya Anand did not name the production house or the individual involved, her claims have been widely shared, prompting calls for an investigation into the casting practices in the industry.
