The official trailer of the upcoming film ‘Sabari’ was unveiled at a ceremony on Friday. This thriller drama features Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead role.
From the trailer, it’s evident that ‘Sabari’ narrates the tale of a mother, portrayed by Varalakshmi, who embarks on a journey to locate her missing daughter, Riya, played by Baby Krithika, despite facing numerous obstacles and societal biases.
Along the way, she encounters both psychological and external challenges. Making his directorial debut with ‘Sabari’ is Anil Katz, who has previously contributed as a writer and assistant director on films such as ‘1940 Lo Oka Gramam’ (2010) and ‘Kamalatho Naa Prayanam’ (2014).
The supporting cast of the film includes actors like Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Mime Gopi, Sunaina, Rajashri Nair, Bhadram, Phani, Krishna Teja, Prabhu, Archana Ananth, and Keshav Deepak. Gopi Sundar has composed the music for this thriller, with cinematography by Rahul Shrivatsav and Nani Chamidisetty. Editing is handled by Dharmendra Karakala, while Ashish Teja Pulala serves as the art director.
Produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the Maha Movies banner, ‘Sabari’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 3.
