‘The Raja Saab’ trimmed following audience feedback

In a proactive move to enhance the viewer experience, the makers of Prabhas’s latest release, ‘The Raja Saab’ , have reportedly trimmed 15–20 minutes from the film’s runtime.
Originally clocking in at over three hours, the horror-comedy faced initial backlash for a sluggish second half and several “filler” scenes that disrupted the narrative flow.
Director Maruthi and the production team adjusted the final duration to approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes, aiming to make the story tighter and more engaging for the family audience it targets.
Despite the criticisms of the length, Prabhas’s energetic screen presence and easy charm have been hailed as the film’s biggest highlights, driving strong occupancy across the Telugu states.
The film managed to break the box office streak of previous hits on its first day, signaling massive audience interest in Prabhas’s return to a “mass” entertainer role.
Makers hope that this leaner cut will help sustain long-term word-of-mouth momentum, particularly during the competitive festive window.
